Love Shakespeare residents of Lake Johnson Mews? Visit the NC Museum of History as Burning Coal Theatre presents a 24-hour reading of all 38 plays by William Shakespeare. This is a special event as groups across North Carolina honor the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. This event is mostly stage readings, but there will be some props and costumes presented.

Happy Easter residents of Lake Johnson Mews! Bring your friends and family to the 5th Annual Spring Egg Hunt this week to celebrate the upcoming holiday. You won't want to miss out on this unique local event! Throughout the Arboretum gardens at NC State University, there are brightly painted wooden eggs hidden with letters on them. When you find the hidden eggs, write down the letters on an answer sheet, that can be picked up in the Bobby G. Wilder Visitor Center. If you unscramble the letters and reveal the secret word, you will receive a small prize. This is an event for all ages that is self-guided and a fun family activity. Bring your hunting skills and be ready to find those eggs! No baskets or reservations needed!
